About the role

First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Deposit & Retail Lending Product Manager to join the Deposit and Retail Lending Services Team.

Compensation:

The pay range for the role is $75,000 - $115,000/yr; commensurate with experience

The level of the position will be determined by the hiring manager based on the candidate's qualifications.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (hours may vary)

The ideal candidate will have:

Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience required.

Finance, business, economics, or marketing degree preferred.

Previous experience in banking strongly preferred.

Experience with card networks/loyalty economics and reimbursable.

Familiarity with RAROC/net profitability and portfolio analytics.

Background in regulated financial services and customer lifecycle marketing.

Officer Minimum Qualifications:

Three (3) + years of product management, loyalty/engagement, card program management, or consumer financial services experience.

AVP Minimum Qualifications:

Five (5) + years of progressively responsible experience in product management, loyalty/engagement, card program management, or consumer financial services experience.

All Candidates:

Demonstrated success driving acquisition, loyalty, spend, managing product features/roadmaps, and partnering across functions.

Strong analytical skills: ability to understand forecasts, build business cases, and drive pricing recommendations and interpret performance data.

Experience collaborating with Vendor Management, Operations, Compliance, and Technology to deliver compliant, reportable solutions.

Excellent communication: ability to influence without authority and lead cross functional work.

Strong knowledge of the overall banking structure and the interrelationship between various lines of business.

Strategic & analytical thinking that is results oriented and customer centric.

Detail oriented with strong execution discipline and follow through.

Cross functional leadership & collaboration.

Comfort with ambiguity; proactive problem solving and ownership.

Able to plan, organize and budget.

Good time management skills.

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and independently.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work with various lines of business.

Strong written and verbal skills.

Possesses sales skills to enhance business development objectives.

Experience in budgeting (production goals, marketing expenses, etc.).

Strong analytical capacity and pricing (consumer loan products) experience.

Demonstrated expertise in putting together a business case and financial pro-forma.
