How you will contribute:

Set and execute the Data, Digital and Technology strategy for the business unit, translating business priorities into impactful data, digital, and technology initiatives.

Identify, prioritize, and curate digital, analytics, and technology use cases that improve efficiency, decision-making, innovation, and business performance.

Lead delivery of the DD&T strategy in collaboration with business stakeholders and the Group Chief Digital and Information Office organization.

Manage the DD&T budget using a total-cost-of-ownership perspective, optimizing investment and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.

Build and lead a high-performing, fit-for-purpose DD&T team, combining internal capabilities with external expertise where appropriate.

Increase data, digital, and analytics literacy across the business unit through targeted capability building, communication, and adoption activities.

Promote adherence to enterprise architecture, data governance, security, GxP, and technology standards while identifying opportunities for cross-business-unit collaboration and innovation.

Lead and manage Site DD&T team

In this position, you will report to the Head of Digital Operations – Manufacturing & Labs (EMEA & India)

What you bring to Takeda:

Bachelor's degree in management, Technology, Information Systems, or a related field preferred, with 10+ years of technology systems experience, including 4+ years in a leadership role.

Proven experience with software application implementations; cloud technology experience is preferred.

Experience with Data and Digital platforms, network infrastructure, and technology stacks within a plant environment.

Strong knowledge of GxP compliance requirements and their application within infrastructure and technology environments.

Knowledge of strategic digital technologies, such as data analytics and visualization platforms, robotic process automation, and augmented, virtual, or mixed reality; awareness of current digital trends is preferred.

Knowledge of Lean operational techniques and experience working with suppliers, products, and global technology portfolios is preferred.

Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to engage senior executives and plant leadership.

Ability to align technology strategies and objectives with operational leadership, establish and track key performance indicators, and deliver results through others.

Demonstrated ability to develop staff through participation in Six Sigma and global projects, troubleshoot non-routine issues independently, and propose practical, compliant improvements to systems, policies, and procedures.
