About the role

About us

Trucking moves the American economy. It is a $1 trillion market, and it still runs on fragmented operations, thin margins, and technology a generation behind. Billor, short for "Bill of Rights," is the only company transforming this market end to end, combining Freight and Technology for Truck Drivers, Freight Brokers, and Small Carriers into a single ecosystem. We operate a fleet of several hundred heavy-duty trucks and run integrated business lines across freight, fintech, and technology platforms.

Acting as a key controller, you will monitor idle times, identify active contracted assets that are not in use to minimize idle costs and prevent emergency rescues, and escalate operational alerts promptly. Through detailed exception reporting and rigorous device compliance tracking, you will ensure total asset visibility, reduce unnecessary expenses, and support strategic operational decisions.

Responsibilities

Idle Time & Asset Optimization: Continuously evaluate stranded assets and identify max idle times. Monitor active contracts to detect assets not being used, actively minimizing idle costs and the need for eventual rescues.

Communication Oversight: Track and analyze assets experiencing communication gaps with the control tower. Incident Escalation: Manage the swift triggering and escalation of operational risk alerts.

Reporting: Generate exception reports to support data-driven decision-making for leadership.

Fleet Compliance: Maintain complete fleet status compliance, ensuring all devices are functioning properly and tracking missed communications.

Requisitos:

Educational background or experience in Logistics or Engineering (preferred).

Background in fleet management, control tower operations, or operational risk.

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and cost optimization.

Ability to work proactively under pressure and respond quickly to real-time risk alerts.
