Graphic Designer – Offset Printing Press Experience

Diamond Printing Press in Dubai is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer with hands-on experience in an offset printing press environment.

The ideal candidate should have strong creative skills combined with solid technical knowledge of prepress, print production, color management, and print-ready artwork preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Design and prepare artwork for brochures, catalogs, packaging, flyers, books, business cards and other printed materials.

Prepare accurate print-ready files including CMYK, bleed, trim, crop marks, and color separation.

Perform prepress checks to ensure artwork is technically suitable for printing.

Handle file setting, color correction, and packaging die line preparation.

Modify and adapt client-supplied artwork according to printing and production requirements.

Coordinate with the prepress, production, and press teams to ensure smooth job processing.

Conduct color correction and proofing to achieve consistent and accurate print results.

Ensure artwork meets client requirements and production specifications.

Provide design recommendations based on printing processes, materials, and finishing requirements.

Manage multiple jobs and meet tight production deadlines.

Identify and correct artwork or file-related issues before production.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Graphic Designer in an offset printing press.

Hands-on experience with prepress and print production.

Strong knowledge of file setting, color correction, and packaging die lines.

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign etc.

Good understanding of CMYK, color separation, bleed, trim, and print specifications.

Knowledge of paper types, inks, plates, and finishing processes.

Strong attention to detail and color accuracy.

Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent print jobs.

Good communication and teamwork skills.
