Construction Project Planner

About the Role

Litco Industries is hiring a Construction Project Planner to manage scheduling and progress control across our construction projects. This role sits within the project controls function, working closely with site teams to keep projects tracking against plan from mobilization through to completion.

Responsibilities

Develop project schedules in Primavera P6 covering all phases of construction, from mobilization to handover

Break down project scope into a structured Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

Track actual progress against the baseline on a regular basis, updating the schedule accordingly

Highlight schedule risks and delays to the project team as early as possible

Build short-term look-ahead plans to guide weekly site execution

Calculate and monitor the project's critical path

Generate progress reports and visual summaries (S-curves, charts) for internal and client review

Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and procurement to keep the schedule realistic and up to date

Support the team during delay claims or Extension of Time (EOT) submissions

Prepare manpower and resource plans aligned with the schedule

Maintain organized records of all schedule versions and updates

Assist with planning documentation during project closeout

Candidate Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

3–7 years of experience in a construction planning/scheduling role

Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project

Comfortable working with Excel for data tracking and reporting

Prior experience on construction projects in UAE is preferred

Good communication skills - this role requires regular coordination with site and management teams

Nice to Have

Experience in steel structure, PEB, or industrial construction projects

Exposure to EOT claims and delay documentation

Primavera P6 certification
