What You'll Do
This Is Not a Typical Internship
You will not be making slides in the corner or shadowing someone else's work. You will own real deliverables, work with real financial data, and produce analysis that helps BCG X Finance make informed decisions on revenue performance, business outlook, and financial strategy. This is a 1-year internship designed for someone who is hungry to learn, sharp enough to ask the right questions, and serious about building a career in finance.
What You Will Do
Analyze revenue and cost performance across global BCG X business units - understanding how a fast-growing tech and consulting business tracks, manages, and governs its financials across geographies
Support end-to-end week-close and month-close activities - experiencing firsthand how a global finance team ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting
Ensure revenue and costs are recorded accurately and on time - working closely with the finance team to maintain the integrity of financial books across multiple offices and business units
Build intelligent dashboards using advanced Excel, Power BI, and AI-powered tools - consolidating multiple data sources into clean, decision-ready financial views
Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, workflows, and team efficiency - we expect you to challenge the status quo and bring fresh thinking
Deliver a Capstone Project focused on a real operational improvement or process automation challenge within BCG X Finance Operations - something that leaves a lasting impact beyond your internship
Gain a deep understanding of how BCG operates as a global firm - the business model, the structure, how business units connect, and how Finance Operations is the engine that keeps it all running
What You'll Bring
Final or penultimate year student from a top-tier college/university, pursuing Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Economics

Strong proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis) - this is non-negotiable
