About the role
Who are we?
We are currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic team in Piove di Sacco, Italy!
Contributes to Thermal Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and regional Manufacturing Engineering activities of Vertiv group and its related responsibilities. Ensure all activities related to the New Product Introduction are within the requested scope of work and given timeline.
What kind of work will you be doing?
Coordinate the Manufacturing Readiness – New Products introduction
Execute projects to provide all technical capabilities to TM manufacturing sites so that they can execute NPI, productivity/efficiency improvement programs, and other strategic projects for the BUs
Is the major contributor to defining the right processes for TM product assembly and testing
Specify new (Smart) technologies, jigs, and fixtures to achieve efficient manufacturing
Contributes to DFM analyses and coordination within NPDI teams
Supports the implementation of Operations Excellence projects across BUs in the TM productions
Works on specific tasks assigned by the TM Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Responsible for the successful Manufacturing/Engineering Prototype build, including the EoL test
R&D cooperation and support
Act as the main contributor to the Manufacturing processes
Contributes to automation improvements
Contributes to RTG/STD hours improvements
Contributes to assembly line optimization
Cooperate with VOS and other departments on production improvements
What will make you successful?
Technical Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or Management Engineering
At least 5-10 years of working experience in a similar role
Knowledge of CAD tools
English language
Available to travel, if needed

The anticipated salary range for this role in Piove di Sacco, Italy is between 48.000€ to 60.000€ gross per year (based on a full-time working week). Certain roles may be eligible for variable compensation and benefits. Where applicable, a comprehensive overview of the full benefits package and any additional compensation will be provided during the recruitment process in accordance with local legal requirements. Compensation is determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including skills, experience, and job responsibilities.
The applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) for this role is Metalmeccanico Industria.
