The Role
We are looking for a qualified ACCA or ACA accountant, who has completed their training contract, to join our audit team as an Audit Senior. This is a genuine opportunity to take ownership of client relationships and develop quickly with a clear pathway to Audit Manager for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion across a varied client portfolio
Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback
Develop audit strategies, risk assessments and audit programmes tailored to each client
Evaluate internal controls, identify weaknesses and recommend improvements
Act as the main point of contact for clients during engagements, building strong working relationships
Prepare and present audit reports with clear findings and practical recommendations
Ensure all audit files and working papers are complete and properly documented
Stay current with developments in auditing and accounting standards
What We're Looking For
Qualified ACCA or ACA - training contract completed
Audit experience gained in a practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards and Irish GAAP / IFRS
Confident communicator, comfortable dealing directly with clients
Organised and self-motivated, able to manage your own workload and deadlines
Full driving licence an advantage given client site visits

Salary €50,000 – €60,000 depending on experience
