Barista and Waitress

Alma is looking for a bright, energetic and passionate Barista / Waitress to join our team at our Northcote Road café.

If you love great coffee, delicious food, busy brunches and creating a fantastic experience for guests, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

Welcoming guests with a friendly and positive attitude

Taking orders and providing excellent table service

Making consistently great coffee and other drinks

Delivering food and drinks to a high standard

Keeping the café clean, organised and looking its best

Working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team

Helping create the warm and energetic atmosphere Alma is known for

Making sure every guest leaves happy and wanting to come back

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is:

Friendly, confident and naturally welcoming

Passionate about hospitality and customer service

Fast, organised and able to stay calm during busy periods

A team player with a positive attitude

Reliable, punctual and well presented

Comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment

Experienced in barista work and/or table service - experience is preferred, but the right attitude is just as important
