Semiconductor Purchase Executive
About the role
Key Responsibilities
Handle procurement of semiconductors, electronic components, ICs, connectors, and PCB-related materials.
Source components from authorized distributors, manufacturers, and approved suppliers.
Experience purchasing through Arrow, DigiKey, Mouser, element14/Farnell, Avnet and similar platforms.
Review BOMs, part numbers, manufacturer part numbers (MPN), specifications, and quantities before procurement.
Obtain and compare quotations based on price, availability, lead time, MOQ, and payment terms.
Identify authorized and reliable sources and avoid counterfeit or obsolete components.
Coordinate with engineering teams for part-number, specification, and alternate-component verification.
Raise and process Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers for timely delivery.
Track order status, shortages, backorders, lead times, and delivery schedules.
Maintain purchase records, supplier databases, quotations, and component pricing.
Negotiate with suppliers for better pricing, delivery schedules, MOQ, and commercial terms.
Monitor component lifecycle status, including obsolete, NRND, and end-of-life parts.
Coordinate with stores, production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure material availability.
Verify received components against PO, BOM, MPN, quantity, and supplier documentation.
Support urgent and shortage-driven procurement requirements for production and prototype builds.
Maintain proper documentation and ensure procurement follows company procedures.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹53,000.00 per month
