Planning Engineer – Landscaping & Construction

Perfect Technical Works and Landscaping LLC is seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to manage project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting for landscaping, irrigation, swimming pool, civil, and external works projects across the UAE.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & Scheduling

Develop, update, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

Prepare and maintain baseline programmes, recovery programmes, and look-ahead schedules.

Develop detailed activity schedules in coordination with project and site teams.

Monitor project milestones, critical activities, and overall schedule performance.

Track manpower, materials, equipment, resources, and productivity against planned requirements.

Identify potential delays and schedule risks and recommend appropriate mitigation and recovery measures.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor and verify daily site progress against approved project schedules.

Compare planned versus actual progress and identify schedule variances.

Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Maintain updated project schedules, progress records, resource data, and planning documentation.

Prepare progress curves, dashboards, and schedule performance reports where required.

Analyze delays, constraints, and productivity issues and provide recommendations for recovery.

Support project teams in achieving planned milestones and completion dates.

Coordination & Project Controls

Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, Procurement, QS, and site teams.

Follow up on procurement, material deliveries, shop drawings, approvals, inspections, subcontractor activities, and other schedule-related requirements.

Monitor activities and dependencies that may impact project progress and completion.

Attend project meetings and provide clear planning, progress, and schedule updates.

Coordinate planning requirements across multiple projects and ensure schedules remain aligned with project objectives.

Assist in preparing recovery plans and revised schedules when projects experience delays.

Maintain proper planning and project control documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

3–5 years of relevant experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls.

Experience in landscaping, civil, infrastructure, swimming pool, or construction projects is preferred.

Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Excel.

Good knowledge of construction planning, project controls, progress tracking, resource planning, and reporting.

Strong understanding of construction activities, sequencing, dependencies, and project schedules.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively.

UAE construction or landscaping experience is preferred.

Immediate joiners are preferred.

Pay: AED41.23 - AED160.39 per month
