Project Engineer – Civil / MEP

Perfect Technical Works and Landscaping LLC is seeking an experienced Project Engineer – Civil / MEP to coordinate and supervise civil and MEP activities across landscaping, swimming pool, water feature, and external works projects in the UAE.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & Execution

Assist the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing projects from mobilization through final handover.

Review and interpret drawings, BOQs, specifications, shop drawings, method statements, and project requirements.

Coordinate daily site activities with Site Engineers, Supervisors, Foremen, subcontractors, and site teams.

Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, resources, and work schedules.

Supervise and coordinate civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and external works.

Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Civil & MEP Coordination

Coordinate MEP services with civil, architectural, structural, and landscape works to avoid clashes and delays.

Review technical requirements and coordinate with relevant engineering disciplines.

Monitor installation and execution of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and related external services.

Identify technical issues and site constraints and assist in developing practical solutions.

Technical Documentation & Approvals

Prepare and follow up on material submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, IRs, method statements, technical submissions, and inspection documentation.

Coordinate with consultants and clients regarding inspections, approvals, technical submissions, and project requirements.

Coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely availability and delivery of materials, equipment, and project resources.

Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality requirements.

Site Supervision & Reporting

Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance with project standards.

Monitor work quality, productivity, progress, and site safety requirements.

Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

Track project issues, delays, material requirements, and outstanding technical matters.

Coordinate testing, commissioning, snagging, rectification, as-built documentation, and final handover.

Ensure project activities comply with UAE regulations, project specifications, QA/QC standards, and HSE requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

3–5 years of UAE experience as a Project Engineer.

Proven experience in civil and MEP works is required.

Experience in landscaping, irrigation, swimming pools, water features, or external works is an advantage.

Ability to read and interpret civil, architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, BOQs, specifications, and shop drawings.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Knowledge of MS Project or Primavera P6 is an advantage.

Good understanding of construction methods, QA/QC, HSE, site coordination, and project execution.

Strong communication, coordination, technical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

UAE Driving License is preferred.

UAE civil/construction experience is highly preferred.

Immediate joiners are preferred.
