Estimator – Landscaping & Swimming Pool Projects
Perfect Technical Works and Landscaping LLC is looking for an experienced Estimator with strong experience in swimming pool and landscaping projects.
Strong swimming pool estimation experience is mandatory.
Key ResponsibilitiesEstimation & Costing
Review drawings, BOQs, specifications, tender documents, and scope of work.
Prepare accurate estimates for swimming pool, landscaping, irrigation, and external works.
Prepare quantity take-offs for:
Excavation and earthworks
Concrete and structural works
Waterproofing
Pool tiling, mosaics, finishes, and coping
Pool deck works
Pool plumbing and piping
Pumps and filtration systems
Pool equipment and accessories
Electrical and pool lighting
Hardscape and softscape
Irrigation and external works
Prepare complete swimming pool estimates, including civil, waterproofing, MEP, finishes, equipment, and accessories.
Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Prepare cost sheets, BOQs, tender prices, budgets, and commercial proposals.
Check material rates, quantities, wastage, overheads, and profit margins.
Identify cost-saving and value engineering opportunities.
Tendering
Review tender documents and identify scope gaps, exclusions, assumptions, and risks.
Prepare tender queries and coordinate for technical clarifications.
Compare supplier and subcontractor quotations and negotiate rates when required.
Prepare bid comparison sheets and tender summaries.
Ensure tender submissions are accurate and submitted on time.
Maintain confidentiality of tender and pricing information.
Coordination
Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, and tender clarification meetings when required.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Designers, Procurement, QS, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Coordinate with Procurement for updated material, equipment, and supplier prices.
Provide estimating and costing support to project teams after award when required.
Documentation
Maintain updated supplier, subcontractor, and historical project rate databases.
Prepare quotation comparisons, tender summaries, cost reports, and pricing schedules.
Maintain organized records of tenders, quotations, estimates, and calculations.
Monitor market prices for pool equipment, construction materials, landscaping materials, plants, and irrigation components.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 4+ years of UAE experience in estimation.
Strong and proven swimming pool estimation experience is mandatory.
Experience in landscaping and irrigation estimation is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of pool civil works, waterproofing, MEP, piping, filtration systems, pumps, tiling, coping, finishes, and equipment.
Good knowledge of hardscape, softscape, irrigation, and external works.
Ability to read and understand civil, architectural, landscape, swimming pool, MEP, and irrigation drawings.
Strong knowledge of quantity take-offs, rate analysis, material pricing, subcontractor pricing, and tender preparation.
Proficiency in MS Excel and estimating/quantity take-off software.
Strong numerical, analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
UAE Driving License is an advantage.
Immediate joiners are preferred.
