About the role

Key Responsibilities

Perform engineering and configuration of SCMS/SAS systems for HV substations.

Integrate IEDs, BCUs, protection & control systems, gateways, HMI and station-level systems.

Configure and integrate IEC 61850-based communication systems.

Handle SCMS/SCADA signal engineering, database configuration and interface coordination.

Support integration with external control and communication systems.

Participate in FAT, SAT, testing and site commissioning activities.

Troubleshoot system integration and communication issues.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, OEMs and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Prepare and review relevant engineering, testing and commissioning documentation.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Control, Automation Engineering, or a related discipline.

8–12 years of overall relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on SCMS/SAS experience in HV substation projects.

Strong knowledge of IEC 61850 and substation communication architecture.

Hands-on experience with IED/BCU integration, HMI/SCADA, gateways and communication interfaces.

Practical experience in FAT, SAT, troubleshooting and site commissioning.

Previous experience on utility/transmission substation projects is highly preferred.

UAE/GCC utility project experience will be an advantage.

Strong technical, problem-solving, documentation and coordination skills.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
