Senior MEP Engineer (HV)
About the role
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise MEP works throughout project execution.
Review MEP drawings, specifications, material submittals and technical documentation.
Oversee installation of HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, firefighting and associated building services.
Coordinate MEP interfaces with civil, electrical and other project disciplines.
Review shop drawings and identify/resolve MEP clashes and interface issues.
Prepare and review method statements, inspection requests and relevant technical documentation.
Coordinate material requirements, procurement and subcontractor activities.
Monitor site progress, quality and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.
Support inspections, testing, commissioning and final handover of MEP systems.
Ensure completion of as-built drawings, O&M manuals and other handover documentation.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 7–10 years of relevant MEP experience, preferably including at least 3–5 years on substation, power, utility or similar infrastructure projects.
Strong experience in HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage and firefighting systems.
Good understanding of MEP interfaces with electrical and civil works.
Experience in site execution, testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
Ability to review MEP drawings, specifications, material submittals and technical documentation.
UAE/GCC project experience is highly preferred.
Strong coordination, problem-solving and communication skills.
Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
