About the Role and the Team
The Indirect Tax Compliance & Accounting team is part of the Global Shared Services Accounting department. We are seeking an ambitious Indirect Tax Accounting & Compliance Lead to join our Dublin team. This senior individual-contributor role blends accounting, indirect tax management, and process improvement. You will collaborate with Accounting, Tax, Finance, and Technology to guarantee accurate indirect tax records and compliance reporting. You'll also have a key role in new acquisitions and help simplify, strengthen, and automate processes as our business grows.
What You’ll Accomplish
Handle indirect tax accounting and reporting across various European entities and jurisdictions.
Coordinate VAT and other indirect tax reporting, ensuring supporting data is accurate and reconciled to the general ledger.
Manage related month-end activities, including reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, and balance sheet accounts.
Partner with the Indirect Tax team and external providers to support accurate and timely compliance, audit, and statutory reporting.
Support the integration of acquisitions and other business or system changes into existing accounting and compliance processes.
Develop and refine processes and controls in collaboration with Accounting, Tax, Finance, Technology, and regional units.
What You'll Bring
Proven accounting experience or equivalent experience in a multinational or multi-entity environment, including general ledger accounting and month-end close.
Experience in indirect tax accounting, VAT reporting, or managing tax compliance tasks.
Experience supporting acquisitions, integrations, system implementations or finance transformation.
Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to take ownership and solve problems independently.
Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
Professional proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA, tax technology, automation, or data analytics.
Experience working with external service providers or shared-service teams.
