Job Purpose

To take full responsibility for managing accounts in Korea: to deep dive into the market to find more opportunities and to develop new business and Sustainable Sales Growth.

Directly involved in the local sales and increase dominance of strategic accounts management and distributors.

Within the overall BU LAB strategy framework, the Account/Sales Manager, develops his/her customer strategy to create business case, ensure BU LAB Sales growth. He/She fosters Growth through proper knowledge of the complex portfolio of product, industry sectors he/she serves.

Key customers management : to align with customers future directions and to develop collaborative projects with those customers for consistent business growth

Maintains professional relationships with responsible accounts to create new business opportunities, and distributors by providing support, information, and guidance to the business; for win/win relationships

Handle negotiations at various level, maintains strong multilevel relationships and use these relationships to identify and develop new sales opportunities.

Ensure proper market & business information flow across the teams and through the entire BU LAB organization (Marketing and Technology teams). Ensure full and consistent use of the BU LAB CRM tool as well as forecasting accuracy.

Negotiate account pricing and ensure alignment within his territory / business segment.

Maintains close communication with direct report line as well as across global sales/marketing/technical teams

Development, alignment and execution of regional and global strategy, including administrative work on sales contracts negotiations and strategic account management.

Understands details of the micro/macro trends which may influence the future direction of our technical/product programs. He focusses on following fields (but not limited to) – Automotive, Refrigeration, Greases, and Industrial Applications (Metal working, compressor, Hydraulic, Turbine, and Gear), Cosmetics, Power plants etc.

Develops new business opportunities keeping up with latest industry trends, market trends and competitors & customers intelligence – share the info, set up the strategic plan and work with cross functional teams

Strong Motivation and Persistency to keep exploring New Growth Opportunities including market development

Work Experience

Requirements

More than 5 years of sales experience in lubricant and additives industry, preferably within multinational corporations.

Possess technical knowledge of chemicals.

Driven, proactive, and self-motivated.

Strong skills in sales management and excellent communication abilities.

Proficient in English and competence with computer applications.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

A high level of motivation to pursue new business opportunities
