The Finance Manager will lead core finance operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, oversee month-end processes, and maintain strong financial controls across the business.
This specification is pitched at a Finance Manager level, reporting directly to the Finance Director, and is well suited to a growing commercial services business such as CPM Ireland. Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of monthly management accounts.
Ownership of the month-end close process.
Preparation of financial reports, analysis and commentary for senior management.
Review and approval of balance sheet and control account reconciliations.
Support the annual audit process.
Manage, coach and develop a small finance team.
Act as the key liaison with the Shared Services team.
Review outputs from the Shared Services function to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Support budgeting, forecasting and process improvement initiatives.
Complete ad hoc finance projects as required.
Requirements:
Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years post-qualified experience.
Experience managing or mentoring finance team members.
Strong month-end and financial reporting experience.
Experience working with a Shared Services environment.
Excellent reconciliation and financial control experience.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
