Class 1/3 Driver Operator

Clean Harbors in Grande Prairie, AB is looking for Professional Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers to join our safety conscious team!

Our experienced EO/Drivers operate; Hydro Vacs, Wet Vac Trucks, High Pressure Trucks, Vacuum Trucks, Combo Units, Chemical Units, trailers, tankers and more to transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste from generators to Clean Harbors facilities.

Operating and driving equipment to and from work sites;

Ensuring proper loading and unloading of hazardous and non-hazardous goods;

Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to a Clean Harbors or 3rd party disposal facility;

Performing pre and post trip inspections;

Communicating clearly with dispatchers;

Doing roadside repairs as needed;

Maintaining and cleaning company equipment.

Currently hold a Class 1 or Class 3 license;

Ability to operate manual transmission required;

Prior experience in heavy equipment and vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair;

Experience operating equipment such as Combo, Vac, High Pressure, Chemical Unit, Tanker, Hot Oiler, dry ice or core cleaning is an asset, onsite training can be provided;

Capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods of time;

Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;

Ability to lift 50lbs regularly throughout the day.

Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical.
