Broad Function:

The Production Printing Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation, maintenance, and performance of high-speed production printing systems. The role will focus on preventive and breakdown maintenance, technical troubleshooting, print-quality optimization, machine uptime, and production support for equipment such as JS1400, Miyakoshi MPG20EXG20, and other industrial inkjet printing systems.

Roles and Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)

Provide comprehensive maintenance and technical support for JS1400, Miyakoshi MPG20EXG20, and similar high-speed inkjet printing systems, ensuring reliable and uninterrupted operations.

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance to maximize machine availability, minimize downtime, and maintain production efficiency.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues associated with inkjet printing equipment in a timely manner.

Monitor and optimize print quality, machine performance, productivity, and consumable utilization to maintain consistent production standards and control wastage.

Maintain accurate records of preventive maintenance schedules, machine breakdowns, troubleshooting activities, repairs, and equipment performance.

Train, guide, and supervise machine operators and technicians on printer operations, safety procedures, routine maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.

Ensure adherence to established quality control standards, production schedules, operating procedures, and plant safety requirements.

Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machine efficiency, print quality, productivity, and overall equipment performance.

Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for effective planning and execution of scheduled maintenance and production runs.

Provide day and night shift support as required, including support during critical breakdowns and production requirements.

The selected candidate will be required to sign a two-year service bond as per the company's terms and conditions.

Requirements

Desired Experience/Qualification:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Printing Technology, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of high-speed inkjet printing systems, preferably JS1400 or equivalent models.

Strong understanding of high-speed production printing processes, preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and print-quality requirements.

Practical exposure to printing equipment and technologies from brands such as JS1400, Domino, Konica Minolta, Ricoh, HP, Canon, or similar industrial printing systems will be preferred.

Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components used in production printing equipment, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, machine drawings, and troubleshooting documentation.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond effectively to machine breakdowns and production-critical situations.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced plant environment and provide technical support across shifts as required.
