Site Engineer - Soil Improvement

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer – Soil Improvement to join our ground engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in soil improvement and ground improvement works, with strong knowledge of site execution, quality control, safety requirements, manpower coordination, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage day-to-day soil improvement and ground improvement activities at the project site.

Ensure site activities are carried out according to approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and project requirements.

Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, surveyors, QA/QC and HSE teams.

Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed within the project schedule.

Prepare daily progress reports, site records, inspection requests, and other project documentation.

Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and resources required for site activities.

Monitor the performance and productivity of site teams and equipment.

Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved construction procedures.

Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections, testing, and quality documentation.

Ensure all works comply with project specifications, HSE requirements, and applicable standards.

Identify site issues and coordinate with the relevant teams to resolve technical and execution-related problems.

Review drawings and technical documents and communicate site requirements to the execution team.

Maintain accurate records of work quantities, equipment utilization, manpower, and daily progress.

Liaise with consultants and clients regarding site activities and inspections when required.

Support project planning, quantity measurement, and progress monitoring.

Required Experience & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of relevant site experience, preferably in soil improvement / ground improvement / geotechnical construction.

Hands-on experience in one or more of the following is preferred:

Vibro Compaction

Dynamic Compaction

Stone Columns / Vibro Replacement

Deep Soil Mixing

Grouting

Soil Stabilization

Preloading / Vertical Drains

Ground Improvement works

Strong knowledge of construction site operations and ground engineering practices.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Good knowledge of site documentation, progress reporting, and inspection procedures.

Strong coordination and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

UAE/GCC construction experience will be an advantage.

Candidates with experience in ground engineering, piling, shoring, or geotechnical projects are preferred.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
