Leader, Solutions Engineer

Meet the team

You will be a key part of the GVSE LATAM organization, reporting directly to the Senior SE Leader for Latin America. You'll collaborate closely with your peer leader for Andina, Central America & Caribbean, ensuring a unified and consistent strategy across the entire theater. Internally, you'll work hand-in-hand with the Brazil & Southern Cone Sales Leader and the broader GVSE Americas leadership team. This is a high-accountability, multicultural, and supportive group that values open knowledge sharing, innovative thinking, and high-energy leadership.

Your Impact

You’ll be the driving force behind the technical success of the Velocity and Midmarket segments across Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Chile. Your impact goes beyond just managing; you’ll lead by example in the field, guiding your team to build net-new pipeline and accelerate deals through deep commercial and technical partnership. By acting as a cultural anchor, you will foster cohesion, talent growth, and high-performance standards across a geographically distributed team, ensuring that Cisco’s technical vision is clearly translated into customer and partner success.

Minimum Qualifications

Fluency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English (all three are strictly required for daily operations).

7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, technical sales, or technical leadership.

Proven background in the Brazil or Southern Cone technology markets, with a solid understanding of local business cultures.

Hands-on experience as an SE or technical sales professional with the ability to engage in credible architectural conversations.

Demonstrated history of leading, coaching, or formally mentoring technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with Cisco’s architecture portfolio (Security, Networking, Collaboration, and Cloud).

Experience leading or participating in high-volume, programmatic, or Velocity sales motions.

Expertise in enabling partner SEs and running technical enablement programs across a reseller ecosystem.

Exposure to AI-assisted productivity tools, AgenticOps, or automation frameworks.

Advanced degrees (MBA/Master's) or relevant Cisco certifications.
