About the role
A UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Tester plays a crucial role in ensuring quality assurance during the execution of payment projects or corporate channel initiatives within the bank. The tester collaborates with the delivery team to create test cases, carry out testing, document any defects, and verify that the functionality meets business requirements prior to release.
Additionally, the Tester is tasked with formulating the User Acceptance Test (UAT) strategy and developing test scenarios and test cases/steps that are aligned with business requirements, user journeys, and user stories. This position also requires the tester to execute test cases collaboratively and communicate the results to both internal and external stakeholders, while fostering direct relationships with SMEs and project teams.
FRAMEWORKS, BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY:
The UAT Tester reports to the Product Owners / Channel Managers
Key decisions that significantly impact testing activities must be approved by the Channel Managers before implementation.
The job holder will make decisions according to the level established within the project execution.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent professional experience.
3-4 years of experience in a Tester position within the Corporate Banking payments domain.
Proficient in relevant project management tools such as JIRA, MS Excel, MPP, MS Visio, HP-QC, etc.
Experience with cash management products and online banking portals is must.
Experience in testing Escrow Management Systems (EMS), transaction banking platforms, virtual account solutions, and end-to-end escrow business processes will be highly advantageous.
