Ads Solutions Engineer, gTech Ads Solutions Engineering

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).

Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

Experience in an analytical role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics.

Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering.

Experience using machine learning and building solutions.

Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix).

As a part of Ads Solutions Engineering, a critical role within gTech Ads, you will focus on both solutioning and scaling at a global level, partnering with regional stakeholders, product teams and specialists, and re-envisioning the way gTech Ads goes to market across customer segments. Responsibilities

Collect requirements, providing guidance, and best practices to apply to ad products and technologies.

Scope, design, and build a series of solutions and best practices at a global level, to be reused by customers, sellers, partners.

Leverage engineering skills to adapt existing bespoke ads solutions created by regional teams into globally scaled solutions that can support thousands of customers.

Own solution life-cycle from discovery, to launch, handling maintenance bugs and feature requests, as well as deprecation for a portfolio of scaled solutions.

Serve as technical consults with Google customers to help in data integration for better measurement and attribution.
