ROLE PURPOSE

As a Mechatronics Engineer – Service Center, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems. You will support workshop operations by identifying technical faults, performing advanced diagnostics, and ensuring vehicles are repaired according to manufacturer and safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, and mechatronic vehicle faults.

Perform advanced vehicle diagnostics using manufacturer diagnostic tools and equipment.

Troubleshoot issues related to engines, transmissions, sensors, control units, wiring, and electronic systems.

Inspect and repair electrical and electronic components.

Perform testing, calibration, programming, and system resets when required.

Support technicians with complex technical and diagnostic cases.

Read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and diagnostic reports.

Coordinate with Service Advisors and Workshop Controllers regarding technical findings and repair requirements.

Ensure all repair work is completed according to manufacturer standards and Job Card instructions.

Conduct final inspections and testing to confirm repairs have been completed correctly.

Identify recurring technical issues and provide recommendations for corrective action.

Maintain accurate repair, diagnostic, and technical documentation.

Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain tools and diagnostic equipment properly.

Support warranty, technical campaigns, recalls, and manufacturer-related repair procedures when required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive diagnostics, mechatronics, or vehicle electrical systems is required.

Previous experience within an automotive dealership or authorized service centre is strongly preferred.

UAE automotive workshop experience is an advantage.

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Strong knowledge of automotive electrical, electronic, mechanical, and control systems.

Hands-on experience with diagnostic scanners, programming tools, and automotive testing equipment.

Strong ability to diagnose complex vehicle faults and interpret diagnostic codes.

Good understanding of CAN Bus, ECU systems, sensors, actuators, and vehicle communication networks.

Experience with EV, hybrid, or advanced vehicle technologies is a strong advantage.

Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced service center environment.

Good written and spoken English.

Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

WORK CONDITIONS

Full-time position based at the ROX Service Center, UAE.

Workshop and service center environment.

May require flexible working hours depending on workshop and operational requirements.

Regular coordination with technicians, Service Advisors, Workshop Controllers, parts teams, and management.
