Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in preparing fabrication drawings, developing layouts, and supporting project execution.

The candidate must be proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare accurate drawings, maintain design documentation, and coordinate effectively with project, production, and site teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Drafting

Prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Develop aluminium fabrication and installation drawings based on project requirements.

Prepare detailed layouts, elevations, sections, and design drawings.

Modify and update drawings according to client requirements and project specifications.

Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with project standards.

Verify dimensions, specifications, materials, and other technical details before submission.

Prepare drawings for aluminium structures, fit-out works, and related project requirements.

Support the preparation of design concepts and technical layouts.

Project Coordination

Coordinate with the Project, Production, and Site Teams regarding drawings and revisions.

Incorporate feedback from clients, project teams, and site teams into drawings.

Assist the project team in resolving drawing and design-related issues.

Ensure revised drawings are communicated to the relevant teams.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and design files.

Maintain proper version control for all project drawings.

Prepare project reports and design-related documentation.

Use Microsoft Excel for project-related data, schedules, and reports.

Use Microsoft PowerPoint for project presentations and updates.

Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.

Quality & Compliance

Verify drawing accuracy before submission or release for production.

Ensure designs meet company standards and client requirements.

Identify and correct drawing discrepancies promptly.

Maintain consistency across drawings and project documentation.

Support continuous improvement by suggesting practical design enhancements where applicable.

RequirementsExperience

Minimum 1 year of experience in aluminium design, drafting, fit-out, or a similar role.

Experience in aluminium fabrication or installation drawings will be preferred.
