Personal Lines Sales Executive

Gallagher Insurances are a trusted family-run business established over 45 years ago which in 2025 was acquired by two investors with strong experience in the insurance sector who plan to substantially grow the business. The capability and investment needed to build the retail business is now in place and we are now looking for an ambitious Sales Executive to join an already growing Team. The company focuses on removing complexity and hassle from the insurance-buying process. Gallagher Insurances compares the market on behalf of clients to find tailored coverage options. Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Dún Laoghaire, with flexibility to work from home part of the time. The Sales Executive will engage with prospective and existing clients, understand their insurance needs, and recommend suitable products by comparing offerings across the market. Daily activities include handling inbound and outbound sales calls, preparing quotations, following up on leads, and closing new business in line with company targets. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in the CRM system, supporting renewal processes, and providing clear, compliant information to clients. The Sales Executive will collaborate with colleagues and management to optimize sales processes, contribute to team goals, and uphold Gallagher Insurances’ customer service standards.

The Candidate

Ambition and drive with a sales and delivery focus

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, explain complex information clearly, and handle client queries professionally.

Good organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple leads, follow up promptly, and maintain accurate documentation.

Proven experience in sales, preferably within insurance or financial services, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Comfort with technology and digital tools, including CRM systems, email, and standard office software for managing client information and sales activities.

Customer-focused mindset, demonstrating integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality service and advice.

Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating with an office-based team while managing responsibilities independently from home.

Relevant industry certifications or regulatory qualifications for selling insurance products (or willingness to obtain these), and prior experience in the Irish insurance market is an advantage.

Pay: €25,000.00-€32,000.00 per year
