ROLE PURPOSE

As a Finance Manager, you will lead and manage the financial operations of ROX UAE, ensuring strong financial control, accurate reporting, effective budgeting, cash flow management, compliance, and commercial support across the business.

You will oversee accounting, financial planning and analysis, treasury, receivables, payables, inventory accounting, vehicle costing, management reporting, VAT and tax compliance, and internal controls while ensuring financial processes support the operational requirements of an automotive dealership and distribution business.

Working closely with sales, aftersales, logistics, operations, HR, external auditors, banks, suppliers, and senior management, you will provide accurate financial insights, protect company assets, strengthen financial governance, and support sustainable business growth across the UAE.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the day-to-day finance and accounting operations of ROX UAE.

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Prepare and review monthly management accounts, financial statements, cash flow reports, and performance dashboards.

Develop annual budgets, forecasts, financial plans, and periodic reforecasts in coordination with department heads and management.

Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts and provide detailed variance analysis.

Provide financial analysis and commercial insights to support management decision-making and business growth.

Manage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, payment planning, and treasury activities.

Monitor accounts receivable, customer collections, aging, credit exposure, and overdue balances.

Oversee accounts payable, supplier reconciliations, payment approvals, and payment schedules.

Ensure accurate accounting and reconciliation of vehicle inventory, spare parts, accessories, and other company assets.

Manage vehicle costing, landed cost calculations, freight, customs duties, insurance, logistics charges, and other import-related costs.

Ensure accurate allocation of vehicle costs and maintain appropriate financial controls over stock valuation.

Monitor vehicle inventory levels, stock aging, inventory provisions, and financial exposure related to slow-moving or aged stock.

Coordinate regular vehicle and parts stock reconciliations between finance records, ERP systems, and physical inventory.

Support vehicle sales accounting, invoicing, revenue recognition, discounts, campaigns, incentives, refunds, and customer deposits.

Review dealership gross margins by vehicle model, sales channel, campaign, and business segment.

Monitor profitability across new vehicle sales, fleet sales, aftersales, service, parts, accessories, and other business activities.

Support the preparation and financial evaluation of pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, discounts, fleet deals, and commercial proposals.

Monitor OEM or manufacturer-related financial transactions, incentives, bonuses, marketing support, claims, rebates, and credit notes where applicable.

Coordinate financial requirements related to vehicle imports, customs clearance, shipping documentation, and supplier payments.

Ensure timely reconciliation of supplier accounts, manufacturer accounts, logistics providers, and other major business partners.

Maintain strong financial controls over showroom transactions, vehicle deposits, receipts, refunds, petty cash, and customer payments.

Ensure appropriate approval processes are followed for purchases, payments, discounts, credit notes, write-offs, and financial commitments.

Develop, implement, and maintain finance policies, accounting procedures, approval matrices, and internal control frameworks.

Identify financial and operational risks and implement appropriate controls and corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with UAE VAT requirements, Corporate Tax regulations, accounting standards, and applicable financial regulations.

Coordinate VAT returns, tax reconciliations, Corporate Tax requirements, and supporting documentation with internal and external advisors.

Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate annual statutory audit requirements.

Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, insurance providers, suppliers, and other external financial partners.

Support banking facilities, guarantees, letters of credit, trade finance, vehicle financing arrangements, and other financial instruments where required.

Monitor dealership operating expenses and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and financial performance.

Review supplier contracts and commercial agreements from a financial and risk-control perspective.

Support management with business cases, investment evaluations, expansion plans, new showroom projects, and other strategic initiatives.

Develop and monitor financial KPIs including revenue, gross profit, operating expenses, EBITDA, working capital, cash conversion, receivable aging, inventory aging, and stock turnover.

Prepare regular management reports covering financial performance, cash position, profitability, inventory exposure, receivables, payables, and key financial risks.

Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data within ERP and dealership management systems.

Support the implementation and improvement of ERP, accounting, reporting, and financial control systems.

Maintain complete and accurate financial records, supporting documents, reconciliations, approvals, contracts, invoices, and audit trails.

Lead, supervise, coach, and develop the finance team while ensuring clear responsibilities, accountability, and high performance.

Work closely with sales, aftersales, logistics, operations, HR, and management to ensure finance effectively supports dealership operations.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company financial information, vehicle margins, pricing, salaries, supplier agreements, banking information, budgets, forecasts, commercial terms, and internal reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong financial management, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting capabilities.

Strong understanding of automotive dealership financial operations and accounting practices.

Strong knowledge of vehicle inventory accounting, vehicle costing, stock valuation, and landed cost calculations.

Strong understanding of automotive dealership revenue streams including new vehicles, fleet sales, aftersales, service, spare parts, accessories, and related activities.

Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow, treasury, and working capital management.

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable commercial insights.

Strong understanding of dealership profitability, vehicle margins, inventory aging, stock turnover, and financial KPIs.

Strong leadership, planning, organizational, and team management skills.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast-paced automotive environment and manage multiple financial priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Ability to identify financial risks, control weaknesses, and operational inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.

Excellent written and spoken English communication is required.

Arabic language skills or additional languages are an advantage.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office is required.

Strong experience with ERP, accounting, or dealership management systems is required; SAP experience is considered a strong advantage.

Good understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, accounting, audit, and financial compliance requirements.

Knowledge of UAE automotive import, customs, logistics, and vehicle costing processes is a strong advantage.

UAE automotive dealership, distributor, importer, or automotive group experience is strongly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field is required.

Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CMA, CPA, CA, CIMA, or equivalent are highly preferred.

Minimum 7–10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with significant experience within automotive dealerships, distributors, importers, or automotive groups in the UAE or GCC.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a finance management or leadership position is preferred.

Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller, Dealership Finance Manager, Automotive Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager, or a comparable automotive finance leadership role is required.

WORK CONDITIONS

Full-time position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Primarily office-based with regular coordination across showrooms, service centers, warehouses, vehicle storage locations, and other company facilities.

Regular interaction with sales, aftersales, logistics, operations, HR, auditors, banks, suppliers, consultants, and senior management.

Flexible working hours may be required during month-end and year-end closing, audits, budgeting periods, major vehicle arrivals, system implementations, or other critical business requirements.

May require occasional travel between company locations, banks, auditors, government authorities, and business partners.

Extended working hours may occasionally be required during financial closing, audits, reporting deadlines, annual budgeting, or major business projects.
