Fabrication Foreman
About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate fabricators and helpers in daily fabrication activities.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, dimensions, and layouts.
Monitor cutting, fitting, welding, grinding, drilling, and assembly work.
Ensure fabrication work is completed according to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, welders, and other departments.
Check material requirements and minimize material wastage.
Monitor productivity, manpower allocation, and work progress.
Ensure proper housekeeping and compliance with safety procedures.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in steel/metal fabrication, with foreman-level experience.
Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and workshop operations.
Ability to read fabrication/shop drawings.
Experience with steel structures, platforms, handrails, ladders, supports, frames, etc.
UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
