Operations Manager – Alma Café

Alma Café is looking for an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to lead and coordinate the day-to-day operations of Alma Café and Around the Corner.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will work closely with our Head Chef, Head Barista and ATC Supervisor to ensure a smooth operation, a motivated team and consistently high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate daily operations.

Manage FOH staff and support department supervisors.

Organise rotas and monitor labour costs.

Maintain high standards of customer service.

Monitor purchasing, stock and operational costs.

Support training and staff development.

Resolve day-to-day operational and customer issues.

Monitor key performance indicators and report to the General Manager.

Who We're Looking For

2–3+ years' management experience in a busy café or restaurant.

Strong leadership and organisational skills.

Hands-on approach and comfortable working on the floor.

Good understanding of staffing, costs and operational performance.

Excellent communication and customer-service skills.

Professional level of English.

40 hours per week / 5 days. Weekend availability is essential, with periodic full weekends off.

Salary: €40,000 + performance-based bonus of up to €2,000 per year.
