Industrial Electrician

We are currently seeking Industrial Electricians to join our growing team for projects across Ireland. Working on some of the country's most significant data centre, pharmaceutical and critical infrastructure projects, you will play a key role in the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems to the highest safety and quality standards.

As part of MTM Engineering, you will work alongside experienced project teams delivering mission-critical electrical installations within fast-paced industrial environments. Responsibilities

Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment within data centre, pharmaceutical and industrial environments.

Carry out glanding and terminating of SWA cables ranging from 4x35sq to 4x240sq.

Perform electrical inspections, testing and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards and safety requirements.

Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime and support project delivery.

Work closely with supervisors, engineers and project teams to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme.

Install, maintain and troubleshoot Building Management Systems (BMS) as required.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of mechanical HVAC systems and their integration with electrical installations.

Ensure all works are completed in accordance with company procedures, client requirements and industry regulations.

Maintain a strong focus on health and safety and adhere to all site rules and procedures.

Complete all required documentation accurately and within required timeframes.

Support the successful delivery of projects by maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism at all times.

Requirements

Qualified Electrician with a recognised electrical qualification and valid certification.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in industrial electrical installations.

Experience with BMS installations, maintenance and commissioning.

Experience working within data centre, pharmaceutical or similar industrial environments is advantageous.

Strong understanding of electrical systems, equipment and installation practices.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.

Strong understanding of mechanical HVAC systems and controls integration.

Knowledge of electrical regulations, industry standards and safe working practices.

Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced project environment.
