Furniture Sales Executive – Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and confident Furniture Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in furniture sales and a strong understanding of furniture, upholstery, fabrics, materials, designs, measurements, and custom-made furniture.

Fluent English speaking and writing is required, as the position involves communicating with customers in the showroom, by phone, and through WhatsApp.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers in the showroom and through online channels.

Understand customers’ requirements and recommend suitable furniture, designs, fabrics, colours, and materials.

Have a strong understanding of furniture construction, upholstery, materials, dimensions, and different comfort levels.

Handle customer enquiries through WhatsApp, phone calls, and in person.

Prepare quotations and follow up with customers to close sales.

Explain product specifications, customisation options, pricing, and delivery timelines clearly.

Follow up with customers from the initial enquiry until the order is confirmed and delivered.

Coordinate with the production team regarding custom orders, specifications, fabrics, measurements, and customer requirements.

Maintain strong customer relationships and provide professional after-sales support.

Handle customer concerns professionally and find suitable solutions.

Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business.

Keep up to date with furniture trends, designs, materials, and customer preferences.

Requirements

Previous experience in furniture sales is required.

Good knowledge of furniture products, upholstery, fabrics, materials, and furniture design.

Experience with custom-made furniture is highly preferred.

Fluent English speaking and writing is required.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Confident and professional when dealing with customers.

Strong sales, negotiation, and closing skills.

Good understanding of furniture measurements and dimensions.

Ability to communicate clearly with production teams regarding customer requirements.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

UAE furniture, interior design, or home furnishing sales experience is an advantage.

The right candidate should be able to confidently guide customers regarding furniture designs, fabrics, colours, materials, sizes, comfort, customisation, while providing a professional and high-quality customer experience.
