Process Design Specialist – Banking

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Process Design Specialist to support a banking client in analysing, designing, and improving end-to-end business and operational processes. The role will work closely with Business, Operations, IT, Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to identify gaps, strengthen controls, and implement efficient and sustainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse and design end-to-end banking processes across products and operations.

Identify process, operational, control, and system gaps and recommend appropriate improvements.

Develop practical, sustainable, and risk-aligned process solutions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

Ensure processes incorporate applicable regulatory, compliance, risk, and internal control requirements.

Work closely with Business, Operations, IT, Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to understand requirements and drive process improvements.

Prepare and maintain process maps, SOPs, BRDs, workflows, and other process documentation.

Support process optimisation, standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Present process recommendations and improvement initiatives to senior stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of experience in process design, business process analysis, or process improvement within the banking/financial services sector.

Strong understanding of banking products, operations, and end-to-end transaction processes.

Proven experience in process mapping, gap analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design.

Good understanding of banking risk, controls, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across business and technology functions.

Excellent written, verbal, documentation, and presentation skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on delivering practical business outcomes.
