Solar Installation Project Manager
The Solar Installation Project Manager is responsible for delivering solar PV projects across the UK, from contract award through to commissioning and handover. The role oversees planning, procurement, construction, grid connection, compliance, and financial performance to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
This position requires strong leadership, knowledge of solar standards in Ireland, and experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of solar PV installations (rooftop, ground-mount, carport)
Develop and maintain detailed project programmes
Coordinate design, procurement, and construction phases
Monitor project milestones, risks, and critical paths
Complete surveys ahead of installs
Manage project budgets and cost control
Review subcontractor quotations and initiate purchase orders
Monitor variations and change orders
Report financial performance to senior management
Ensure all health and safety standards are met
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
Project management experience in solar, renewables, or electrical construction
Strong knowledge of residential and commercial solar PV systems
Experience managing subcontractors and multi-site projects
QC certified
Full driving licence
Work Location: In person
Pay: €65,000.00-€75,000.00 per year
