About the role

The most valuable Trust & Estate advisors aren't brought in simply to prepare a return. They're brought into the decisions that determine how significant family wealth is structured, transferred, and preserved across generations.

A leading public accounting and advisory firm is looking to add an experienced Trust & Estate Tax Partner to its Private Client Services practice.

This is an opportunity for an established Trust & Estate leader to advise high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families across sophisticated estate, gift, fiduciary, and multigenerational wealth planning while helping shape the continued growth of the practice.

You'll work alongside other private client professionals and outside advisors to solve complex planning issues for families whose needs extend across trusts, estates, closely held businesses, investments, charitable interests, and significant generational wealth.

Compensation: $300,000–$400,000+ in annual compensation, with additional upside based on experience, client relationships, business development, and overall practice contribution.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior advisor to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, and family groups

Lead sophisticated estate, gift, trust, and fiduciary tax planning and compliance

Advise clients on multigenerational wealth transfer and estate planning strategies

Consult on gifting strategies, trust structures, estate administration, charitable planning, and other complex wealth transfer matters

Develop new business through existing relationships, referrals, centers of influence, and market activity relationships by identifying additional tax, family office, and advisory needs

Lead and develop Directors, Managers, and other professionals within the Trust & Estate practice

Recruit and develop specialized talent as the practice continues to grow

Collaborate with other Partners on strategic client opportunities and integrated private client relationships

Help shape the continued growth, technical capabilities, and market presence of the Trust & Estate practice

Proven ability to advise clients on complex planning matters beyond tax compliance

Established relationships with sophisticated private clients and professional advisors

Strong network of estate planning attorneys, wealth advisors, family offices, and other centers of influence

Demonstrated ability to originate, retain, and client relationships

Why This One Is Worth a Conversation

For an established Trust & Estate Partner, changing firms only makes sense if the new platform creates more opportunity around the relationships and expertise you've already built.

This role offers the ability to operate within a sophisticated Private Client Services practice where Trust & Estate work isn't treated as a narrow compliance specialty. It's part of a broader advisory relationship with individuals and families whose needs span tax, wealth transfer, businesses, investments, trusts, estates, and multigenerational planning.

You'll have the opportunity to deepen existing relationships, build new ones through a strong professional network, develop the next generation of Trust & Estate talent, and have a meaningful voice in how the practice continues to grow.

For someone who has built a reputation as a trusted advisor and wants a platform that allows them to build further around it, this is worth a confidential conversation.
