Summary of the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join the Assortify platform team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and scaling enterprise-grade applications across both frontend and backend layers.

The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on expertise in modern web technologies, demonstrates end-to-end ownership, and thrives in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. Familiarity with AI-assisted development is expected.

About the role:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications

Build responsive user interfaces using React.js and TypeScript

Develop backend services using Node.js, GraphQL, and Express

Implement GraphQL schemas and APIs for efficient data interactions

Manage data using Prisma ORM with PostgreSQL

Contribute to microservices architecture

Build cloud-native applications using AWS services

Implement testing using Jest and Cypress

Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git

Leverage AI developer tools (e.g., Copilot) for code generation, refactoring, and productivity

Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required skills & experience

4+ years of experience

Strong expertise in JavaScript / TypeScript

Experience with React.js and Node.js

Hands-on experience with GraphQL and Prisma

Experience with microservices architecture

AWS cloud experience

Familiarity with testing and CI/CD pipelines

Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar

Familiarity with AI-assisted development (code generation, refactoring, debugging)

Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar tools to improve developer productivity

Ability to write effective prompts for engineering tasks (API design, test generation, documentation)

Understanding of responsible AI usage including code validation, security, and bias awareness

Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications (optional but preferred)

Nice to Have

Experience with AG Grid

Knowledge of APM tools (e.g., New Relic)

Experience with serverless architecture

Retail/merchandising domain experience
