Zeiss SMT is looking for a Frontline Process Engineer (m/f/x) in Oberkochen.

Your role

As a Frontline Process Engineer you will, among other things, work directly in the cleanroom on our DUV technology.

You conduct analyses of existing manufacturing processes using your own observations, experiments, and metrics.

You ensure the realization of improvement measures in terms of time, cost, and quality.

You take on technical responsibility for an entire value-stream segment and actively shape production ramp-ups in collaboration with R&D.

The technological evaluation and handling of customer complaints also fall within your responsibilities.

Your profile

You have completed your university degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable STEM program with very good results.

You already bring several years of experience in the evaluation, analysis, and optimization of complex manufacturing processes, as well as in applying problem-solving methods (8D, PDCA, Six Sigma).

Enjoy working with complex technical systems, strong team spirit, willingness to work in a cleanroom environment, and fluent German plus good English skills round off your profile.
