About the role

As an experienced communications and strategy professional, this role will actively engage in client and sales discussions, leveraging expertise in content creation and writing to develop and implement effective content strategies. In addition, the role will enhance the diversity of product offerings by supporting multichannel solutions, and lead the coordination of internal and external resources to advance a solution-based selling strategy tailored to local client needs. The role also requires expanding and managing partnerships with external vendor resources to ensure quality and efficiency in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct consultation sessions with clients, develop and implement comprehensive, multi-channel content strategies for clients

Produce engaging, high-impact content to help clients achieve their business objectives, with a strong focus on high-quality press release writing and brand storytelling.

Create analysis reports for clients with actionable content optimization suggestions and data-driven insights.

Participate in client content planning meetings and client visits. Confidently present and explain content strategies and integrated communication plans to key stakeholders.

Stay abreast of global communication trends, particularly within the US and European media environments, and provide regular market insights and content recommendations to clients.

Leverage PR Newswire’s MultiVu-Channel solutions (including Paid media, Earned Media, OOH, and more) to integrate press release strategies with broader digital marketing and earned media efforts.

Design customized communication solution packages based on local client needs and company service offerings

Manage External Vendor Resources to evaluate and select high-quality external vendors, establishing long-term partnerships.

Work closely with sales, marketing team to promote sales campaigns

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.

Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in a corporate communications setting, PR agency, or media/journalism industry

Extensive content creation and writing background, journalism experience preferred

Solid grasp of integrated marketing and communication strategies, with hands-on experience in digital channels (e.g., social media, content platforms, PR distribution networks) and offline channels (e.g., events, exhibitions)

Familiarity with the media landscape, established network of overseas media is a plus

Creative problem-solver with strong communication skills

Self-motivated and customer-centric

Strong collaborative team spirit
