About the role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our busy speciality coffee shop and brunch restaurant.
The Kitchen Porter is an important part of the kitchen team, helping the chefs keep the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly throughout service.
Key Responsibilities
Washing dishes, pots, pans and kitchen equipment efficiently.
Keeping all kitchen areas clean, tidy and organised throughout the day.
Carrying out regular cleaning of floors, surfaces, fridges, equipment and other kitchen areas.
Ensuring cleaning schedules and hygiene standards are maintained.
Supporting the chefs with basic kitchen tasks when required.
Helping with deliveries, putting away stock and keeping storage areas organised.
Emptying bins and maintaining a clean and hygienic waste area.
Ensuring equipment and utensils are available and ready for service.
Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods and helping wherever needed.
Following all food safety, health and safety and cleaning procedures.
About You
Previous kitchen porter or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential.
Hardworking, reliable and punctual.
Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
Takes pride in cleanliness and has excellent attention to detail.
Positive attitude and willing to get stuck in.
Able to work well as part of a team.
Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet for extended periods.
Organised and able to prioritise tasks during busy services.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in keeping a kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently, while supporting the chefs and wider team to deliver a high standard of service.
Pay: From €14.15 per hour
