Wait Staff

We are looking for experienced, friendly, hard-working and reliable full-time/part-time waitstaff to join our busy gastropub on O’Connell Street in Dublin city centre.

This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who is confident working in a busy pub environment, enjoys providing excellent customer service and can work efficiently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Welcoming customers and providing friendly, professional service

Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently

Providing attentive table service throughout the customer’s visit

Serving food and drinks to a high standard

Checking on customers and ensuring they have an enjoyable experience

Keeping tables clean, tidy and well presented

Working efficiently during busy periods and managing multiple tables

Communicating effectively with the kitchen, bar and other members of the team

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation

Handling customer requests professionally and resolving any service issues where possible

Supporting the wider pub team during busy periods

Following all company procedures relating to service, cash handling, hygiene and health & safety

What We’re Looking For

Previous waiting experience is essential

Experience working in a busy pub, bar or restaurant environment

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to remain calm and organised during busy periods

A positive, friendly and professional attitude

Reliable, punctual and well presented

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy periods

Fluent English is essential
