Hours: 39 Hour Week – Working patterns available: Dayshift 4 or 5 days or Nightshift 4 days.

Join our team at Terex Cookstown as we seek to find a skilled and dedicated Paint Shop Operative (Blast / Spray) to contribute to our Paint Shop team.

As a Paint Shop Operative (Blast / Spray) at Terex, you'll play a pivotal role in producing equipment that helps improve the lives of people around the world.

What you’ll do:

Working as spray painter on large Mild Steel products

Paint preparation

Use of paint mixing systems – G40 and G50

Working with blast, and various tools for the completion of product to the applicable specifications.

To prepare parts and assemblies for shot blasting & painting to stage for finishing product, meeting defined production standards, schedules, and quality requirements.

General housekeeping of areas and paints

What you’ll bring:

The successful candidate needs to have relevant experience as a Blast or Spray Painter. They should have knowledge of paint preparation within a manufacturing or engineering environment. They should be hard working, a good team player with excellent communication skills and good attention to detail. You should be willing to develop your skills on an ongoing basis. We also require the flexibility to work overtime as and when required.
