About the role

The UPS Store is hiring a Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, retail sales, shipping services, and working with people.

As a Sales Associate, you will assist customers with shipping, printing, packaging, mailbox services, and retail purchases while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers

Help customers with shipping services including packaging, UPS shipments, and shipping labels

Assist with printing services, document services, and retail product sales

Operate POS systems, printers, and store equipment

Prepare and package shipments according to store procedures

Recommend products and services to meet customer needs

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store

Work collaboratively with team members during busy periods

Follow store procedures and operational guidelines

Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills

Friendly, reliable, and professional attitude

Basic computer and POS system skills (training provided)

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment

Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience preferred but not required

Part-Time

20-30 hours/week: Monday - Friday 2pm-8pm or 4pm-8pm, Some Saturday's
