Hard Services Manager

About the Role:

As a CBRE Hard Services Manager, you will perform specialized engineering and technical services activities.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:

Perform specialized building engineering services and resolve complex technical issues. • Diagnose and repair advanced faults across building systems including HVAC, electrical, and controls. • Optimize system performance and implement energy efficiency improvements. • Maintain accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation. • Support the commissioning and testing of new equipment and systems. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. • Applies general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems • Has broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function • Explains complex information to others in straightforward situations • May convince to reach agreement • Applies judgment to resolve day-to-day technical problems within established procedures. • Shares knowledge of own job discipline with team members. • Works within broad guidelines and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. • Impacts quality of own work and the work of the immediate team.

What You’ll Need:

High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-4 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. • A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required. • Ability to evaluate and communicate complex content in a concise and logical way. • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
