Technical Manager ll-Reinforced Concrete

vConstruct is seeking a Technical Manager II to provide advanced technical leadership across multiple Reinforced Concrete detailing projects.

This role focuses on technical governance, mentoring Technical Managers, establishing detailing standards, driving quality improvement, and ensuring consistent technical excellence across project teams. The successful candidate will serve as a senior technical resource, supporting complex projects, strategic initiatives, and organizational technical development.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across multiple projects and project teams.

Mentor and support Technical Managers, technical staff and project production staff.

Establish and maintain company detailing standards and BIM workflows.

Review technically complex models, drawings, and detailing solutions.

Lead constructability reviews and technical risk assessments.

Drive quality assurance, technical governance, and process standardization.

Support strategic client meetings and major project pursuits.

Collaborate with Project Manager II's and Senior Project Managers on project execution strategies.

Lead technical training initiatives and knowledge-sharing programs.

Promote innovation, automation, and continuous improvement across technical teams.

Evaluate emerging technologies and digital construction solutions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.

More than 12-15 years of experience in Reinforced Concrete detailing or VDC.

Proven experience mentoring technical leaders and managing technical standards.

Extensive experience supporting complex construction projects.
