Job Title: Risk and Compliance Analyst

Reports to: Risk & Compliance Manager

Location: Hybrid working policy after successful completion of IFSC office-based training.

Hours of work: Mon-Fri office hours with occasional weekend work: 1-3 days per month

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Salary Range: €35,000-€40,000 depending on experience

Main Purpose of the Job:

Assist in the day-to-day management of the risk and compliance function within Betdaq. The role works closely with the Risk & Compliance Manager and the Head of Treasury and Payments to ensure compliance with responsible gambling and anti-money laundering policies. The role also supports KYC, customer verification, AML, fraud checks and GDPR compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

● Monitor and report on customers in line with our responsible gambling policy.

● Ensure compliance with all Anti Money Laundering procedures.

● Provide specialist support to the customer engagement team for customer verification, responsible gambling and KYC queries.

● Act as a primary contact for responding to safer gambling and compliance queries/requests.

● Assist in the preparation of various regulatory returns.

● General information gathering in relation to compliance requests, betting integrity and fraud checks.

● Interact with customers both over the phone and email, regarding responsible gambling and assist with any KYC or EDD-related queries.

● Gather customer data and analyse as required.

● Assist in monitoring and implementing internal control policies.

● Assist in internal cross-departmental training.

● Support all related project work and provide operational cover for the other members of the team as required.

● Assist managers in day-to-day operations as the need arises.

Required Qualification:

● Must be eligible to work in Ireland

Preferred Qualification:

● Third level qualification

Required Experience:

● Minimum of 2 years experience and knowledge of the betting industry.

Preferred Experience:

● Experience and knowledge of the betting Exchange business.

● Experience in a similar compliance role.

Required Skills:

● Numerate with strong analytical skills.

● Intermediate Excel.

● Intermediate MS Office.

● Excellent attention to detail.

● Self-starter

● Strong communication skills
