Your work profile:

Looking for Senior Consultant with strong expertise in test facility management applications within the automotive industry.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with tools such as AVL TFMS and a solid understanding of test bench, test facility management.

This role requires the ability to evaluate IT solutions, conduct competitor analysis, and guide strategic decisions on buy vs. build approaches.

The consultant must also be capable of working quickly and effectively during short discovery phases, delivering actionable insights under tight timelines.

Key skills required:

Experience: 6-9 years

Domain Expertise

Provide subject matter expertise on test facility management systems (e.g., AVL TFMS) and related automotive applications.

Understand and appreciate test bench preparation workflows to ensure IT solutions align with operational needs.

Rapid Discovery & Analysis

Conduct fast-paced discovery sessions to capture requirements and constraints.

Deliver quick assessments and recommendations without compromising quality.

IT Strategy & Advisory

Translate business needs into IT application requirements and propose innovative solutions.

Drive technology adoption strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Competitor & Market Analysis

Perform benchmarking of test facility management applications and emerging technologies.

Prepare concise reports highlighting gaps and opportunities.

Decision Making

Lead buys vs. build evaluations for IT applications considering cost, scalability, and long-term value.

Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with engineering, IT, and procurement teams for seamless solution integration.

Act as a trusted advisor for process improvement and digital transformation.

Qualifications:

B. E. / B. Tech / MCA / M.E / M. Tech / MSc in Computer Science.
