Your work profile:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA ETL Automation Engineer with strong expertise in automation testing using Python framework.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in modern ETL tools (PySpark, Apache air flow), solid programming knowledge, and strong experience with databases and CI/CD pipelines.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable automation solutions and ensure high-quality product delivery.
Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for ETL testing
Analyze requirements and identify test scenarios suitable for automation
Hands on experience in cloud platforms - Azure, Data bricks
Strong understanding of ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
Solid experience in validating data flows, transformations, and ensuring data integrity across systems.
Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams
Participate in test planning, estimation, and automation strategy
Integrate and execute automation tests within CI/CD pipelines
Report, track, and validate defects
Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices
Key skills required:
3-7 years of experience
Strong hands-on experience in:
End to end ETL testing
Experience working with Azure Databricks (Mandatory)
Proficiency in Python programming language:
Strong hands-on experience with SQL and database testing
Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools and pipeline integration, including:
Jenkins, Azure DevOps
Strong experience with version control systems (Git)
Experience in:
Test case design and analysis
Identifying test cases for automation
Maintaining and optimizing automation scripts
Good understanding of:
Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Agile/Scrum methodologies
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to interact effectively with product and business stakeholders
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members
Nice to Have:
Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
Exposure to test reporting and monitoring tools
Qualifications:
B. E. / B. Tech / MCA / M.E / M. Tech / MSc in Computer Science.
