We’re hiring a Yard Technician – Sanitation in Hubbard, TX to support our growing sanitation operations. This is a hands-on position responsible for preparing, maintaining, repairing, and helping deploy our fleet of restroom and sanitation trailers.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with their hands, and is comfortable performing a variety of basic plumbing, electrical, and general repair work. Experience with restroom trailers, RVs, mobile offices, modular buildings, or similar equipment is a plus, but not required.

Primary Responsibilities

Prepare restroom and sanitation trailers for delivery and deployment.

Assist with the placement, setup, leveling, and removal of restroom trailers.

Inspect trailers before and after rental to identify damage or needed repairs.

Diagnose and repair basic plumbing systems, including toilets, sinks, faucets, drains, water lines, pumps, valves, and related components.

Perform basic electrical repairs such as replacing light switches, outlets, fixtures, bulbs, breakers, and other components.

Troubleshoot and repair doors, locks, flooring, walls, trim, hardware, and other trailer components.

Perform preventative maintenance and general repairs to keep units rental-ready.

Test plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other trailer systems to ensure proper operation before deployment.

Clean and prepare units to meet EquipmentShare's quality standards.

Maintain an organized, clean, and safe yard and work area.

Track repairs and communicate parts or equipment needs to leadership.

Assist drivers and field technicians with loading, unloading, setup, and breakdown of units as needed.

Follow all EquipmentShare safety policies and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, maintenance, or general construction.

Comfortable using common hand and power tools.

Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs independently.

Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining rental-ready equipment.

Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in any of the following is a plus, but not required:

Restroom or sanitation trailers

RV or camper repair

Mobile offices or modular buildings

Plumbing

Electrical maintenance

Facilities or property maintenance

Construction or general contracting

Equipment rental

Trailer repair and maintenance

Education & Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous maintenance, construction, mechanical, facilities, or equipment repair experience preferred.

Industry-specific sanitation or restroom trailer experience is not required. We’re willing to train candidates who have strong mechanical aptitude and transferable skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work with tools throughout the workday.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to safely perform physical tasks associated with preparing, repairing, and deploying mobile restroom trailers.
