About the role

The Monitoring Analyst - NIght Shift is responsible for monitoring drivers' electronic logs to ensure compliance with FMCSA Hours of Service regulations. This role proactively identifies potential violations, communicates with drivers in real time to provide guidance, and works to minimize compliance risks while supporting safe and efficient fleet operations.

Responsibilities

Monitor drivers’ electronic logs and Hours of Service (HOS) to ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations.

Proactively identify potential HOS violations and compliance risks.

Monitor drivers in real time and provide guidance to help them remain compliant.

Communicate with drivers regarding log status, available driving hours, and potential violations.

Review and analyze ELD data to identify inconsistencies, irregularities, or compliance issues.

Take immediate action to prevent or minimize potential HOS violations.

Escalate critical compliance or safety issues to the appropriate teams.

Maintain accurate records of monitoring activities, violations, and corrective actions.

Support drivers with questions related to HOS regulations and ELD usage.

Collaborate with Operations, Safety, and other relevant teams to ensure safe and efficient fleet operations.

Perform continuous monitoring throughout the night shift and respond promptly to alerts or compliance issues.

Requisitos:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make accurate calculations.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify potential issues before they become problems.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to professionally assist and guide drivers.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions independently.

Proficient with computers and able to quickly learn new software and internal systems.

Reliable, dependable, and capable of working overnight or extended shifts as needed.

Previous transportation, logistics, dispatch, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
