Job Description

Aramark Food Services is currently recruiting for a Shift Lead to join their team in Boston Scientific. Reporting to the Unit Manager, this individual will have responsibility for leading the shift and assist supervising the catering services provided in this restaurant. If you have a passion for food and service and thrive on working in a team then this might be the ideal job for you. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with a proven track record in supervising a high-street deli bar.

Job Responsibilities

Leading by example in preparing delicious, high-quality product with a focus on the barista bar

Supporting the day-to-day supervision of the catering team, ensuring standards are consistently met

Supporting stock control, deliveries, and minimising waste

Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to all Health & Safety regulations

Liaising with the Unit Manager and stepping up in their absence when required

Assist in the training and development of the catering team

Provide excellent customer service to all clients and customers

Ensure Front of house areas are merchandised as per unit SOP’s

Ensure that the catering facility runs smoothly on a day to day basis

Handle customer requests, feedback and complaints in a satisfactory manner

Complete weekly bookwork as required

Implement HACCP procedures and Health and Safety regulations

Ensure that the highest standards of Health and Safety and HACCP are maintained in the catering facility

Good leadership skills with a proven track record in supervision of junior administration staff.

Qualifications

Fluent English

Excellent customer Service skills

Experience in merchandising, working with brands and promotions would be a distinct advantage

Proven experience of managing a team

Excellent Attention to detail

At least 1 years’ experience in a supervisory or assistant manager capacity in a high-end café/coffee shop or high street restaurant setting

HACCP/Food safety trained

Problem Solving abilities and capable of working to own initiative and tight deadlines

Experience in cash handling, computer literate
